There are 2 ways to become a King in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord: Create a kingdom. Take over a kingdom. Both of these methods will require time and patience from the player. However, one should be able to become king in Bannerlord in 1 to 2 years using these techniques.
Decide which Imperial town you want. Join as a vassal to the closest non-Imperial faction to that town. Gain some influence with battles and missions. Wait til they're at war with the Imperial faction that holds the town you desire. Once at war, spend all your influence on building an army to take the town.

So if they are all winning battles you have to pay money for that. Or maybe you might decide you want to change the look of your companions, even buying all fresh t5 gear for 7 companions could run you over a million. Kahvipannu Apr 19, 2020 @ 12:46pm. -40 relation to that kingdom members I think. This was in previous beta branch tough, also Mercenaries that were part of that Kingdom got that relation hit too, I assume that is not intented. Not sure if any other penalty included.
Once all four requirements have been fulfilled, a new kingdom tab will appear in your game menu. Now you can either start diplomatic relationships with other kingdoms or conquer their lands by waging wars. — That’s all on how to start your own kingdom in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord.
I stopped forming the kingdom. I found you can take over towns and castles without it. Find a spot you can take, wait for the right moment. seige the town and take it, when the enemy army comes pay for peace. rinse, repeat. I have like 5 major towns, and 7 castles. and since you are not a kingdom yet, they cant delcare war on you. Option 1) Join a faction, get fiefs and leave when at clan tier 4, keeping fiefs is optional but it gives you land for your kingdom straight away. Now how to do this well: Whenever you beat a lord, release them for relation, you need 20+ relation to have a chance of convincing them to join you.
Upon clicking "Leave Kingdom" the Freedom! achievement immediately unlocked to my surprise. Conditions that may or may not be required for this to work: - Dragon Banner assembled. - Side chosen
One of their cities to the very north-west of their starting territory is sorta isolated on it's own bit of land, with the only way to reach it being a narrow, often bandit-infested valley. Might be a good place to start. battania. rare archer, no horse archer, weak cavalry, means easier to beat in battles. their highland also easier to defend

Originally posted by Xiane: Yes, part of the games point is to become a leader of your own kingdom. If you mean one of those random NPC factions, ehhh you start off as that, rather than vassaling to You can always use cheat to get what you want, that's what I did on one of my game. You can activate them in the launcher menu. In your inventory : ctrl + x -> money. On your caracter sheet : ctrl + x -> 1000xp. In a battle : ctrl + f4 -> kill an ennemy. On the map : ctrl + left click -> teleport.
this game is boring, it's like warband but with fewer options. "walk around the map aimlessly for hours and try to find 10 people to tell you about something you dont even care about and then do loads of other pointless boring crap for more hours just so you can finally get your own castle and faction THEN have the ACTUAL GAME FINALLY START
How to add a Settlement as a Vassal. Getting to Clan Rank 3 is the first step. You will be able to take new settlement and castles as a vassal. You will need to then join the faction that controls the zone you want. As long as the ruling clan does not absolutely hate you, you should be able to join their kingdom.
The only way to get on top of the aggro is to prisoner and rush or start chopping heads. Destroy the clans and then start, or you will be locked down for a long time. Also as your own kingdom you will never ever have a larger army. So your only choice is to take away parties from them.
Right off the bat, the ruling clan earning 3 influence per day is an absolute must for any newly-created kingdom. It’s one of the best policies if you’re hell-bent on creating your own kingdom from scratch, but only in the beginning stages. Firmly avoid this policy if you’re a vassal. Sacred Majesty Policy in Bannerlord.
> Create Kingdom > Choose Kingdom Culture > Choose Kingdom’s Active Policies > Create Kingdom Name Then, I go check the “Create a non-imperial kingdom” quest objects page again and the “Be an independent clan” box is now unchecked and says, “Clan independence 0/1.” This makes absolutely ZERO sense!!! I had my independence a minute
